In deed, but seriously… the answer to sex on the first date is simple. Its completly up to the individual, and you have to respect that. You cant be pressured into it because someone’s nagging into your ear, or your friends are doing it, or somebody said you should. It really is up to you, and if it feels like something you want to do.

So lets go thru some pro’s and con’s and try to get some sense into this situation. Pro’s… I mean the first one, like hello! its going to be fun.

Yeh, if you do have sex on the first date, its probably going to be fun.

You’ll go with the moment, you will feel like your in a movie scene, it can be exiting.

But mostly its fun, its supposed to be fun.

And in some ways its good to get it over and done with, because you can work out, especially if you have been single for a long time, the tension from not having sex for such a long time.

And you can work out if your actually into the person, or if it was just a sexual attraction.

Or this can be that carrot on a stick scenario, where if you hold off from having sex on the first date, the person that your with will sort of chase you, and because you have a lot of chemicals running thru your body, you wont actually know if its true love or just a lustful fling. So sex on the first date can actually clear away all of that and leave you with the reality of wether you want to pursure the relationship or not.

Sounds like a lot of fun so far, but there are some con’s of course as I said. Somebody could think differently the next day. Maybe not respect you in the morning.

Yes… the old "dont respect you in the morning". If the guy rolls over out of the bed and says "I’ve got to go to the Dentist sweetheart, I’ll see you later" you know you dont want him in your life anyway. Just think back, ok, we had fun at the time, dont collect baggage and bring it into another relationship because you think that might be the person that treats you right. Just accept it for what it was, and be glad that you have moved him along. If you hadn’t had sex on the first date, you would have found this out like 20 days in, and it would have been a lot more painful.

Wasted a lot of time and energy. Ok, well tips, if you do do it, most importantly dont feel guilty about it. Life’s too short to be guilty. Just give him or her a call the next day, and have a laugh.

Just have a laugh about it. People can get all worked and think… Oh my goodness, I cant believe what I have done. Pick up the phone and laugh, just say that was a lot of fun. That dispells it all, and allows you to move on with the relationship.

And be prepared, maybe it was just in the moment. Enjoy what you did. Dont necessarilly think of it as meaning anything in the future. And of course be safe and enjoy your dating.
