So, you are in a really tough spot with your relationship? You are either about to break up or you already have. I definitely feel for you, as I have been through that myself, the good news is that you can save your relationship.

This is done by hitting the rewind button. By this I mean, think back to the beginning part of the relationship. I’d bet anything that, the early part was the most fun part, so hit the rewind button and see if you can get back to the fun part.

Warning: The Rewind Button Is Not Instant

Unfortunately the rewind button doesn’t work as fast as it does on your DVD Player. But, you shouldn’t mind putting in your time, if you want to save your relationship. After all, that’s the least you can do.

Think about what was it that drew you to this person initially? Was it their smile? Was it their sense of humor? Did their likes and beliefs match your likes and beliefs? It was probably a mixture of all those things.

What Exactly Happened?

Now that you remember why you were attracted to them in the first place, and hopefully you’ve got that warm feeling again, go to the present time, and investigate what exactly happened? How did you get from point A to Point B?

Was it just one thing or has it just built up throughout the relationship? Sometimes we don’t notice what we have until its gone. So if the early memories you have of the relationship seem honest, wonderful, and real, while the feelings you have of the relationship at the current stage, seem a bit shallow or petty, its time to head back to the beginning.

Notice The Good In Your Ex

I know this may seem hard right now, but make a conscious decision to look for every great thing that you saw in your ex, back in the beginning stages, NOW. So if the first thing that drew you to them was a smile, notice their smile. It’s one of the reasons you were together. Appreciate that!
